3 Great Reasons to Share Food

Sharing food is a huge benefit in a relationship

When someone tells me that they don't like to share food with their significant other, I cringe. Sharing food, as hard as it may seem to some people, is probably one of the coolest things about being in a relationship. I used to not like sharing, but that has definitely changed throughout the years.

When my wife and I go out we share nearly everything. Here's why:

1) You get to experience VARIETY.

If you are like me, you like eating out. But what do you do when you want the zesty lemon chicken with asparagus and rice as well as the baby back ribs with mash potatoes. Sure one is healthier than the other, but the ribs just look so good! SPLIT IT! Have your special other get one and you get the other. Both of you win!

2) If the portions are big, you eat for HALF PRICE.

If you are at a restaurant that you know serves big portions, get one entree. Choose something you both like. Seriously, have you noticed that food portions in restaurants are getting bigger? This especially goes for Mexican restaurants, Chinese restaurants, and lots of other foreign food restaurants ... in America. Who knows what is causing food portions to get bigger, but who cares. We can benefit from asking the waitress for another plate!

3) It's CUTE!

Let's face it, sharing is cute. It looks amazing! We are a part of something very special when we share and other people can see it.

Next time you are out with your man or woman, think about sharing. You may find it's a lot of fun too!
